La Casuzza al Duomo is a bright apartment that can accommodate up to 3 people and is located in the heart of Agrigento's historic center, just steps from the Cathedral!
NB: The Casuzza al Duomo is a project conceived as a continuation of the "Casuzza al Duomo with a view of the Valley of the Temples!" located on the upper floor and also with a separate entrance. Therefore, you can book both apartments for up to five people.
This project was also designed with the same enthusiasm and flair by architect Vincenzo Castelli
It's particularly suitable for those who empathize with art for the presence of design objects or for the questionable irreverence of works such as those of Giuseppe Veneziano, Corpicrudi or the contrasting genius of Uwe.
Each work is a limited edition, numbered and signed.
Accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
A responsible use is required.
The [duplex] apartment extends over two levels connected by an internal staircase and is therefore particularly suitable for a couple or friends or family for whom sleeping in the same environment is not a problem!
From the ground floor you access an Open Space with a kitchen, equipped with a two-burner hob, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and microwave.
Large relaxation area with armchairs.
A windowless service bathroom with soap.
Queen-size bed [120×190 cm] with memory foam mattress and pillows and hypoallergenic, fresh and anti-mite mattress cover.
The Open Space has a window with a sea view, air conditioning, a table, armchairs, clothes rack, mirror and Smart TV.
There is a safe with a key.
A comfortable internal staircase leads to the upper floor with a window overlooking the sea and the Valley of the Temples!
There is a non-divisible double bed [160×190 cm] also with a memory foam mattress and pillows and an anti-allergic, fresh and anti-mite mattress cover; clothes rack, armchairs, air conditioning and Smart TV.
The bathroom with mosaic has a window, a large shower [Shower tray: 140×90 cm] bidet, hairdryer, shower cap and essentials.
It is adjacent to a make-up area with mirror and curtain.
High-speed fiber optics (Free Wi-Fi) throughout the apartment.
Both air conditioners are heat pumps and are therefore able to combine the cooling and heating functions.
In order to limit carbon dioxide emissions and protect the environment, when you leave the Apartment, the air conditioners, if on, will turn off and only the courtesy lights and the sockets for charging your devices will be activated.
You will have the entire Apartment at your disposal with the exception of a small storage room for private use in the larger Bathroom.

Other things to keep in mind:
La Casuzza al Duomo is located in a hilly area and to access it you have to go up some short and wide stairs; it is located in the heart of the Historic Center of Agrigento which is nestled on a hill overlooking the Valley of the Temples and the Sea and which has a typically Arab urban structure among the most authentic and best preserved in Sicily.
Therefore it is a place that I recommend to those who are fascinated by the typical narrow streets, the courtyards, the many up and down stairs [not recommended for those with walking difficulties] and numerous and lively little squares where you can breathe a return to the past, to the genuine.
Outside, in the courtyard below it is likely to meet cats, mostly dozing!
Upon arrival, all guests will be required to provide identification (Including minors) for registration in accordance with the law.
Only registered guests are allowed in the Casuzza.
At Check-in, you will be asked to pay the Tourist Tax in cash: €1 per day and per person (for the first 4 days).
Children up to the age of fourteen are exempt.
On the day of check-in, a pre-authorization will be required that will block the amount of €99 on the credit card and will be automatically unblocked within 7 days of check-out, after a check of the condition of the accommodation.
Water is a precious and exhaustible resource {there is no running water in Agrigento} so please use it carefully and avoid waste.
There is no daily cleaning service but you will find the necessary cleaning equipment in the apartment.
For stays longer than a week, in agreement with the guest and free of charge, the cleaning of the entire apartment with change of sheets and towels is provided.
There is no washing machine.
We expect our guests to return Casuzza in the same condition they found it.
